Dear GOD, I pray for guidance for my surviving family. Let them realize that spending all our "hard earned money" will not buy a spot in heaven for my soul, that purchase is already made, and, that vacant earthly house will be no more!

Now, only the pictures are left to remind us that "loving memories last forever"... Lest we forget, the future brings increased medical costs, and the most important thing to me is my loved ones' "future quality of life."

Emotional overspending at this time will cause me great discomfort!! Let me rest and be proud in knowing that my loved ones were too smart to be persuaded to "emotionally overspend!!"

Personally, I know it is a better idea for surviving loved ones to be in charge rather than big business funeral directors and cemetery sales people. Think About it!

Some Laws Governing Disposal of Dead Human Bodies:

• 24 HOUR LAW: Before expiration of 24 hours, one of four things must be done with the body, namely, (1) Burial (2) Refrigeration below 40 degrees F. (3) Placement in "Body Bag", known as a Ziegler Case (4) Embalming (makes the body unfit for bacteria).

• 48 HOUR LAW: Primarily for cremation type disposition: Body cannot be cremated till 48 hrs. have expired from time of death. (Allows time for an autopsy where "foul play" is suspected.)

• UNATTENDED DEATH: Requires autopsy to determine cause of death. (especially when remains are to be cremated).

•• Matters of this type are personal and private which is why we like to work by appointment!
