O. Lee |

Charles
0. Lee is an associate with Amos & Associates - The Law
Firm, in Gulfport, MS. Charles is a native of Jackson, MS,
where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie 0. Lee, reside.
Mr. Lee is a 1998 graduate of The University of Mississippi
School of Law and completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree
in English from Rust College in Holly Springs, MS.
While a student at Rust College, Mr. Lee served as the Student
Government Association President for the 1994-1995 academic
year. He was also a student representative of the Board
of Trustees, a member of the Pre-Alumni Council, and worked
with numerous fund-raising efforts for the United Negro
College Fund. Mr. Lee also received a scholarship for two
consecutive years from 100 Black Men of Jackson for excellence
in leadership and academics. Also, during Mr. Lee's undergraduate
years, he had the opportunity to conduct research at the
University of Missouri-Columbia during the summer of 1993
in Higher and Adult Education. In addition, Mr. Lee conducted
research in the American Literature Department at the University
of California-Riverside during the summer months of 1994.
As a
student at the University of Mississippi School of Law,
Mr. Lee was a member of the Black Law Students Association
(BLSA) and chairman of the BLSA Attorney-Law Student Mentoring
Program. He also worked for two years as a research assistant
for Larry J. Pittman, Professor of Law. His research focused
on issues related to Health Law.
Upon
graduation from law school, Mr. Lee had the privilege of
working as a law clerk for two Chancellors, The Honorable
Jerry G. Mason and The Honorable Sarah P. Springer, in the
12th Chancery Court District (Lauderdale and Clarke counties).
Mr. Lee's experience as a law clerk for the 12th Chancery
Court District will be beneficial in his practice at Amos
& Associates. His primary focus will be in Family Law and
Personal Injury issues.
