Dr. Frederick T. Work, Jr., MD, specializes in a wide array of aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures for the head and neck, breasts, trunk and extremities. Other areas of expertise include liposuction for body contouring, mesotherapy, L.E.D. light Acne therapy, tummy tuck, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, laser facial rejuvenation, laser vein therapy, endermonology, chemical peel, micro vascular surgery, pediatric surgery, and treatment of skin cancers. Dr. Work has a special interest in the prevention and management of hypertrophic and keloid scarring. All of our personnel have expertise in handling the special skin care needs of our diverse patient base.

An alumnus of Georgia Tech and Morehouse College, Dr. Work completed his internship at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, California, general surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and plastic surgery residency at Emory University where he also completed a head and neck surgery fellowship. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He was assistant clinical professor of Plastic and reconstructive surgery at Emory School of Medicine 1998-1999 and has held this appointment at Morehouse School of Medicine from 1999 to present. Dr. Work has privileges at all the major metropolitan hospitals in Atlanta.
