If
you are charged with DWI you will be required
to obtain a substance abuse assessment from a
facility which is fully licensed by the State
of North Carolina DWI/Criminal Justice Branch.
A
substance abuse assessment consists of the completion
of a standardized test, the gathering of personal
alcohol and drug history followed by a clinical
interview by a certified substance abuse counselor.
