I graduated from Emory University in August 1984 with a B.M.S.C. Degree in the Physician Associate Program School of Medicine. All clinic rotations were at Martin Army Hospital, Columbus, Georgia with the exception of Orthopedics which was done at Hughston Orthopedic Clinic. I did a two month clinical preceptorship with Ernest G. Haslam, MD at Beaches Family Practice Center. Prior to Attending Emory University I served eight years in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force I worked as a Medical Service Specialist, Podiatry Specialist and Orthopedic Clinic Technician. I am certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physicians Assistants. I have been employed at Beaches Family Practice Center since 1987. My Duties include Physical Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment of medical conditions, Performing minor surgery, Hospital rounds at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Physical Exams on clients at Chemical addictions Recovery Effort and monthly visits at Skilled Nursing Homes.

I graduated from Florida State University in December 1992 with a Master of Science in Nursing degree, Family Nurse Practitioner Program. I am a certified family nurse practitioner and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Professional memberships include American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, American Heart Association. I have been employed at Beaches Family Practice Center since 1997. My duties include physical assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment of Medical Conditions, Performing minor surgery, Hospital rounds at Gulf Coast Medical Center and visits at skilled nursing homes. I am also employed by Gulf Emergency Specialist working part-time in the emergency room at Gulf Coast Medical Center.
