Renaissance Commons Chattanooga's premier full service conference and reception center hosts private events from elegant and intimate dinners to board meetings and seminars. This impressive and productive environment offers convenient access to neighboring restaurants, overnight accommodations, parks and museums. All events are catered exclusively by the Art District's renowned staff of professional Chefs.


The River Room is ideal for larger events, receptions and banquets. Located on the main floor. This impressive room accommodates up to 95 guests for a banquet event and 125 for a standing reception. Comfortable Chippendale-style chairs are provided for all events, along with a retractable slide screen and other audio-visual equipment.


The Island Room on the second floor is an excellent choice for board meetings. Designed for maximum comfort and productivity, this room features a hand-crafted walnut executive boardroom table with fine leather chairs. A media center is also included.

The Bluff Room also on the second floor, allows for flexible room arrangements, making this room ideal for training sessions, lectures, smaller banquets, and receptions. A full media center is also included. Comfortable conference seating or formal dining chairs are available to suit your style.

The City Room features a more casual atmosphere highlighted by a hand-tiled gas fireplace, hardware floors, comfortable couches and chairs. An optional small conference table may accompany a la carte media equipment to make this room comfortable and productive.



Bluff View Inn now offers several options for private gatherings with event rooms in two of the three bed and breakfast houses.

The Audubon Room on the main floor of the Maclellan House features hardwood floors and a wonderful east-facing view of the Tennessee River through a large picture window. This elegant room accommodates 35 guests for a banquet event or 50 for a standing reception.



The Library in the C.G. Martin House features paneled walls and a large stone fireplace. 20 guests are accommodated in this handsome room while enjoying menu selections from Back Inn Cafe's current menu.


River Gallery houses an eclectic collection of fine art and museum-quality craft in a variety of style, form, and media. Some 300 local, regional, and national artists are represented, along with changing exhibits each month.

River Gallery Sculpture Garden features a formal garden area, meditation area, recycling mountain stream and nature walk and is listed in the International Sculpture Center's "Sculpture Parks and Gardens Directory."

A new sculpture exhibit is presented each year in June. In addition to this annual changing exhibit, the Sculpture Garden features a permanent sculpture collection which includes the work of Leonard Baskin, Allan Houser, Frank Stella and, Ernest Trova.

River Gallery Sculpture Garden is open to the public, free of charge, during regular Gallery hours. Printed guides are available at the Garden entrance for selfguided tours, or guided tours can be arranged in advance through River Gallery.


Directions: From 124, take Hwy 27 N to the 4th St. Exit and proceed seven blocks before turning left on High St. and travel 2 blocks to the end of High St. and turn right at the Hunter Museum onto East Second St. You will discover the Bluff View Art District. It is also within walking distance from the Tennessee Aquarium, downtown Chattanooga and Coolidge Park via the Tennessee Riverwalk.
