Real Estate Bogin, Munns & Munns represents real estate owners, developers and investors in their individual and corporate capacities in virtually all aspects of real estate law. Our representation includes sales, acquisitions, development, leasing, land use, financing, title insurance, foreclosures, workouts, construction, liens and most other real estate related legal matters. We represent individuals, small corporations and national corporate entities. Our attorneys are title agents for most of the national title insurance companies, and we issue title insurance commitments, policies and examine title information in connection with the acquisition, financing and sale of real estate. Our real estate team is headed by our founding and managing partner, Rulon D. Munns. Mr. Munns has represented clients in all facets of real estate law for 25 years. Mr. Munns has represented lenders, title insurance companies, Fortune 500 companies, and the largest contiguous private land owner in Florida (300,000 acre Desert Ranches). He is lead outside counsel for Albertson's, Inc. in Florida. Also on the real estate team are B.F. (Biff) Godfrey, Jr., who has 24 years of experience; David G. Williford, who has 15 years of experience; Henry M. Cooper, who has 8 years of experience; and Spencer R. Munns. This team of experienced real estate attorneys is complemented by a staff of experienced legal assistants, all of whom work together to form a team deep in capability and dedicated to timely response and extraordinary service. Mr. Munns and our real estate team also represent Pinnacle Financial Corporation and the renowned Veranda Park Development. Commercial Litigation Our Commercial Litigation Team is headed by Daniel N. Brodersen. Mr. Brodersen has extensive trial experience. He has practiced in state and federal courts throughout the southeast. Daniel Brodersen is joined on the litigation team by Nancy Brandt, John N. Bolanovich, Joseph N. Lott, Brian J. Gillis, and John J. Wright. These attorneys are joined by a host of other attorneys and assistants, all of whom combine together to form a litigation team that can handle the largest and most complex litigation as well as smaller, less complicated cases. The firm presently represents major banking and financial institutions, title insurance companies, developers, construction companies, various business entities and individuals. We practice in federal and state courts in Florida and throughout the southeast United States. Corporate, Tax and Estate Law Sandy I. Valbh heads our corporate, tax and estates team. Sandy has an LLM in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. With the tax laws being ever more complicated, it is essential that all of our clients obtain counsel concerning the tax effects of their wills, estate plans, corporate organizations and vehicles through which they operate their business entities. Sandy brings a wealth of experience and background to the table with respect to corporate, tax and estate planning issues. Sandy maintains a large probate practice. Intellectual Property Law Developing, commercializing and protecting technology and intellectual property is essential for commercial success in today's marketplace. The Intellectual Property and Technology Practice at Bogin, Munns & Munns assists our clients in commercializing and protecting their technology and intellectual property assets through a team of experienced attorneys with skills in corporate, technology, intellectual property, venture capital and tax matters, as well as significant business experience in the technology sector. The Intellectual Property and Technology Practice advises emerging and established technology, entertainment and multi-media companies, as well as individuals, artists and entertainers regarding product development and protection of intellectual property, copyright and trademark registration, product licensing, distribution and marketing transactions internet, entertainment and multimedia transaction mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, investment and financing transactions, and strategic business planning. The Intellectual Property and Technology Practice is directed by Terence F. Brennan ("Terry"). Terry has more than fifteen years experience in advising technology, multi-media, and entertainment companies and individuals in corporate, intellectual property, technology and entertainment transactions. Terry is admitted to practice in Florida and New York . He is an active participant in many organizations providing services to technology, multi-media and emerging companies. He is and has been a member of several committees of the Florida Bar, New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Computer Law Association addressing intellectual property and technology issues. Terry received a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1978 where he was an Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. He speaks and writes frequently on corporate and technology transactions, intellectual property and venture capital issues. He is joined on the team by John J. Wright. |
