Dr. Berkowitz is Board Certified in orthopedics and arthroscopic surgery and trained and certified in the use of surgical lasers. He has been in practice since 1978. Dr. Berkowitz is an active staff member at Parkway Medical Center, Northside Hospital, Saint Joseph's Hospital, and Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center. Dr. Berkowitz is fluent in both Spanish and French. This eliminates the need for interpreters to accompany patients, lowering cost and ensuring confidentiality.

With the growth of Bone and Joint, Dr. Scott D. Norris joined the orthopedic practice in December, 1999. Dr. Scott received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey. He also attended Old Dominion University for the study of physical therapy. He did his internship and residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospital at Stratford, New Jersey. Dr. Norris served a one year fellowship in Sports Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Norris has been in practice since 1998, prior to joining Bone and Joint Associates, Dr. Norris was with Regional Orthopedics of Turnersville, NJ. Dr. Norris is on staff at Emory Parkway Medical Center, Douglas General Hospital and Cobb Medical Center. With Dr. Norris's training of physical therapy, he follows a patient's therapy regimen and ensures they are attaining progress following an injury.

Mrs. Marilyn Szymanski is the Office Administrator of Bone and Joint Associates. She has a degree in Business Administration and an extensive background in medical management and Worker's Compensation.
