the desk of a "Recruiter" Take Five Pointers!
Do's
and Dont's of an interview.
Do:
Do your homework on the company - look them up on the WEB,
in the library, Better Business Bureau, information from
the HR dept. or the recruiting agency, etc.
Don't:
Don't ask questions you should already know about the
job opportunity.

Do:
Listen carefully to the job description - get a copy if
possible. If you are represented by an agency, ask questions
about the person whom you'll be meeting with.
Don't:
Don't try to sell yourself into another job other than
the one you're interviewing for. Don't career path at
the interview.

Do:
Bring a copy of your resume - on bond paper.
Don't:
Don't assume they have your resume at hand. Be alert.

Do:
Dress professionally - irrespective of the job or gender
- wear a suit and closed shoes, preferred colors: black,
blue and gray.
Don't:
Don't assume anything about the company by its size and
name. Business dress is always your best option.
