August 26,1998 Dear Mr. Wright, Jay and I wanted to write you and express our many thanks for all your help with our air conditioning units you installed when we built our house in 1997. We asked you to come out on a couple of occasions just to get the vents flowing right throughout the house. Your people did this very promptly and cordially. We thought that was enough. But this past summer, a little over a year after we moved in, we realized our upstairs unit was not cooling correctly. We do not use the upstairs unit unless we have company so we were not made aware of this sooner because of that. After many attempts at fixing the upstairs unit by James Middleton (James was a hard worker and always friendly), the unit was still not cooling the upstairs area properly. After talking with you, we both realized a big mistake had been made. We had thought the unit we paid for was big enough to cool all the upstairs (even the 400 sq. ft. unfinished room - to make it approx. 800 sq. ft. total). But to our surprise your quote to the builder was for a unit to cool only approx. 400 sq. ft. total. When you and I realized the mistake had really been made by the builder and it was too late for any recourse, you really surprised me by coming out and installing a bigger unit to cool the whole upstairs free of charge! Mr. Wright, I believe you and your employees have gone out of your way to make us happy. I don't think many companies would have done what you did for us. And you did this without any complaints, which made it even nicer. I will be very happy to recommend C & W Heating and Cooling to anyone. Please call us if you ever need a reference. When the service men came that morning they were all very cordial, explained everything and went about their business. It was obvious that all of them take a lot of pride in their work.
