Welcome to our practice. Dr. Samuel G. Rosenthal has been in private practice since 1971 specializing in cosmetic plastic surgery. He is board certified in plastic surgery and general surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He trained in New York City at the Downstate Medical Center - Kings County Hospital, one of the three largest hospitals in the U.S. and one of the oldest plastic surgery programs in the U.S. After seven years at this prestigious medical center, he was appointed head of Plastic Surgery at the Naval Hospital of Jacksonville. Presently, he is a consultant plastic surgeon for the U.S. Navy.

Dr. Rosenthal has distinguished himself by serving in numerous medical leadership roles, including past Chief of Plastic Surgery at Memorial Medical Center, Jacksonville Medical Center and Humana Hospital. He also served as Vice Chief of Staff at Memorial Medical Center, head of Plastic Surgery at Jacksonville Naval Hospital, Clinical Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine, former attending surgeon at the Kings County Medical Center in New York City and past president of the Northeast Florida Society of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Rosenthal was one of the pioneers of office based surgery, performing cosmetic surgery in the office as of 1973. A national award winning classical sculptor, Dr. Rosenthal's background enhances his involvement in the field of plastic surgery.
