Margurette Straley B.S. with honors, Cornell '76 D.V.M. Cornell '80 Dr. Straley attended the Cornell University and raduated with a B.S. with honors in 1976. She also graduated in 1980 from Cornell with her D.V.M. 1980-1983 Dr. Straley practiced at Fosters Animal Hospital. In May,1983 Dr. Straley worked for Dr. Butler by the next summer she purchased the Hospital. By September 1, 1984 the hospital was doing business as Freedom Animal Hospital. |

Leland McLauglin BS North Carolina State '81 D.V.M. Tuskagee University '87 Dr. McLaughlin attended NC State where he graduated in 1981 with a BS in Zoology. In 1987 Dr. McLaughlin graduated from Tuskagee University Vet School with his D.V.M. Dr. McLaughlin has been practicing at Freedom Animal Hospital for 11 years. He also participates in Shadowing and Mentoring programs for under privilege youths. |

Amy Ballard Jones BS UNC Charlotte '91 D.V.M. NC State - CVM '95 Dr. Ballard graduated UNC Charlotte in 1991 with a BS in Biology. In 1995 she graduated from NCSU Vet School with her CVM. She did her internship at Freedom Animal Hospital in 1988 and continued employment as a receptionist, Vet Assistant and Technician. Dr. Ballard is also Advisor and Co-ordinator for the Exploring program "division of the Boy Scouts". |
