than another. It is not always as simple as color and
clarity. I will walk you through a GIA certificate and
show you how aspects of cut and other details about a
stone affect the price and
the appearance of a diamond. I believe that an important
part of my job is to help my client determine what he
can and cannot see.
For instance, can he see the difference between a G and
an E color? VVS1 and a VS2 clarity? Once we have established
what you can and cannot see, and you have a basic understanding
of what makes one diamond more expensive than another,
then you are ready to make an informed and intelligent
choice. Whether you buy from me or from someone else,
you will buy from a position of strength and confidence,
not anxiety. Many jewelry and diamond professionals do
their best to generate an aura of mystery around diamonds.
They want you to think that you are not qualified to pick
out a diamond. Not true. After one hour with me you will
be qualified to pick out the right diamond for you and
your loved one. I stock hundreds of GIA certified diamonds
in sizes from.50 carat to 10 carat. I specialize in high
color and fine cuts. I have a good selection of high quality
engagement ring mountings, wedding bands, and other jewelry
in stock, and I do a large business in custom order. My
custom rings cover the entire spectrum from classic "Tiffany"
style solitaires to elaborate works of art. I work in
platinum, 18 kt. gold, and 14 kt. Gold Made to order does
