Captain
"Dandy" Don began fishing at the young age of six
in and around the local waters of Sheepshead Bay, Coney Island,
and Long Island. An avid fisherman all of his life, it was only
natural for Don to continue his favorite sport when he relocated
to Florida in 1974. Captain "Dandy" Don guides full
time and competes in B.A.S.S., Red Man, and local tournaments.
Don and
his clients have boated more than 41 bass over 7 pounds since
January 2001, including 2 over 10 pounds, and 9 over 9 pounds
including "Dandy" Don's biggest of 11 pounds 4 ounces.
A senior
writer for Outdoor Florida Magazine, his column Ye Ole
Tackle Box has been in publication for almost two years.
His column has been published nationally in Bass Fever Magazine.
Captain "Dandy" Don has been written up in magazines
and newspapers such as the Sun-Sentinel, Palm
Beach Post and the North American Fishing Club.
