Course Length: 9 Weeks or 11 Weeks

Includes a registration fee of $100.00, kit, books and materials, of $300.00. If additional instruction is required after the 9 or 11 week courses, it may be provided at a cost of $6.00 per hour.

The College will admit as regular students, high school graduates and holders of high school graduation equivalency certificates. Chris' Beauty College does not accept ability to benefit students. A $25.00 non-refundable application fee is required upon enrollment.

MANICURING COURSE

Theory Instruction 85 Hours
Practical 265 Hours

Methods to be used for instruction include lecture, demonstration, overhead projection of materials, videos, activities that require student participation, discussion and review.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
At the completion of the Manicurist Program the graduate should:

• Know the anatomy of the hand and nail.
  
• Be able to recognize nail disorders and treat them.
  
• Be able to apply artificial nails in a professional manner.
  
• Be able to perform massage techniques for arms, fingers and hands.
  
• Know the procedure for becoming a licensed manicurist in the State of Mississippi.
  
• Be able to perform as a professional Manicurist.
