Learning starts soon after birth, and is at an optimum period
during the early years.
Children go through common stages of development, they each learn
at their own pace, learn best by doing, and do what is interesting and
fun for them.
Children who have a positive self-concept are better able to
cope with new situations, which is the essence of successful human development.
Parental involvement, coupled with a quality preschool program
with low child- to-teacher ratio, is best for early childhood development.
Our
programs are implemented by a caring, nurturing, highly trained and
qualified staff, whose primary concern is the well being of your child
and to see that he or she enjoys age-appropriate learning experiences,
acquiring all the skills and confidence needed to master a more structured
future educational environment.
We emphasize a strong communication bond with our parents. This is
accomplished through several methods including frequent written reports,
newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences.
Our facilities were designed with your child's development in mind.
There is a pleasant atmosphere in tastefully decorated classrooms where
all details are intended to provide learning experiences. Outside, there
are appealing play areas with soft and hard surfaces of different textures,
and play equipment that enhances your child's gross motor skills and
social development.
NIGHT
CARE
During 2002, we identified that the community had a need for evening
child care services. We became licensed to provide this service for
our parents that had evening occupations, as well as our day parents
that occasionally arrived late to pick up their children. To use our
Night Care Program, a child must be registered as such. We provide dinner
at 7:00 PM, and snack if appropriate. Evening activities are also provided,
such as story time, table games, homework assistance, movie time, etc.
At 8:00 PM, when the children are tired, they are laid on their cots
for rest time. The Night Care Program is housed at the East Center,
and the door there is locked at 6:00 PM for the children's safety. Children
from the West Center that are not picked up by 6:00 PM are transported
to the East Center for extended hour care as required.
The Night Care Program excludes infants under 6 months of age
