Tujays uses Von Schrader equipment exclusively. Carpets are dry in approximately 4 to 6 hours.

The Von Schrader method uses no steam. This is relatively a good thing since live steam may be disastrous to your carpet. Actually, the "steam" is only hot water that is sprayed into the carpet. In most cases, a great percentage of the dirt bearing water is extracted from the carpet. The remainder may be left and may result in soggy carpet, browning, mildew, shrinkage, or damaged backing, padding and floors. Drying time usually ranges from 18 to 24 hours - a long time for any carpet area to be unusable.

The Von Schrader Carpet Extractor Method applies a dirt emulsifying dry or low-moisture foam, brushes it thoroughly into the carpet and removes both foam and dirt immediately before it can sink back down into the carpet. This simultaneous operation is an important benefit. Only the Von Schrader Carpet Extractor has this patented feature. Because only foam is used, your carpet in most cases is ready for use in an hour or so, and is completely dry in approximately 4 hours. The greatest benefit is that there is no danger of shrinkage, dry-rot, browning or mildew.
